Conference Fees - € Euros

  • Early Bird Registration Fee: €595 (including the EMAC membership fee for 2019)-deadline 16th April 2018
     
  • Regular Registration Fee: €660 including the EMAC membership fee for 2019)
     
  • Doctoral Colloquium Registration Fee: €260 (only for PhD students attending the Doctoral Colloquium.The Colloquium is a closed event. Only the students who submitted a paper and whose paper has been accepted for presentation are allowed to attend.

    The Colloquium and the Main Conference are separate events. Students accepted to participate in the colloquium and wishing to attend the EMAC Conference only have to pay 50% of the conference fee. The remaining 50% are covered by EMAC (details on how to benefit from this special discount will be sent to the accepted students).

Payment of Registration Fees

Full payment must be made by credit/debit card at the time of registering.

Cards accepted are VISA, Visa Debit and MasterCard, unfortunately we cannot accept American Express or Maestro.


 
Full payment must be received in full prior to the Congress. If you register at the early registration rate, payment must be received in full by the Early Registration deadline. If payment is not received at this time, your registration rate will automatically be changed to standard registration and the higher fee will be due. 

On receipt of your registration form, a confirmation email and receipt will be sent to you by the conference organisers. If you have not received this within 5 working days of registering, please contact the conference organisers by emailing emac2018@in-conference.org.uk.


Doctoral Colloquium Fees

Participants have to register to the Colloquium via a link that will be sent after notification of acceptance for the Doctoral Colloquium. Registration is mandatory to participate in the Colloquium. The Colloquium is a closed event. Only the students who submitted a paper and whose paper has been accepted for presentation are allowed to attend.

Delegate Cancellation

Notification of cancellation must be submitted by email to the conference organisers (In Conference Ltd) to emac2018@in-conference.org.uk

Cancellations made on or before Wednesday 4th April 2018 will be refunded less the €75 administration fee. Cancellations made after Wednesday 4th April 2018 will NOT be refunded.

No Shows will NOT be refunded.

Substituting a registered delegate with an alternative person (one of your co-authors only) is acceptable until 13th April 2018 and should be notified to emac2018@in-conference.org.uk

Note that the name and order of the authors will NOT be changed in the conference programme and proceedings.

Liability

By no means shall EMAC be held liable, either directly or indirectly, for any problematic issue that may occur within the framework of the Conference and its organisation, not only with respect to the organisers but also with respect to third parties (airline companies, hotels, transportation, taxis, etc.) while in the performance of duties or services even indirectly related to the Conference.

This contractual liability exemption clause is equally valid in case of an event of force majeure which leads to the disruption and/or the partial or complete cancellation of the Conference programme, for reasons not attributable to EMAC. An event of force majeure is defined as an unforeseen and exceptional event – be it climatic, environmental, political or socio-economic – and does not imply any limitation.

Furthermore, the delegate also expressly agrees to totally absolve EMAC from any responsibility and liability with regard to travel insurance and related costs or claims. It is solely up to the individual to seek out and purchase or otherwise obtain the necessary insurance with regards to his/her travel, etc. and/or to independently issue a claim against any third party that may be responsible for direct or indirect losses or damages caused to or suffered by the delegate en route to and from the Conference.

Data Protection Act 1998/2003

The 2018 European Marketing Academy Conference will use your personal data only for purposes connected to this meeting and no details will be passed onto any third parties.

Visa

All delegates are recommended to ensure they have the correct visas and passport requirements to travel to the conference, see below for more details and guidance. Non-EU participants may require a Visa to enter the UK.  To check if you need a UK Visa please visit www.gov.uk/check-uk-visa. Delegates may also contact the consulate/embassy in their home country for further information.

Validity of Passports

It is your responsibility to ensure that your passport is valid for travel and we recommend that you check with your local Embassy.  Please note that some countries require your passport to be valid for up to 3 months from the date of return.

Visa Applications – Letter from the Organising Secretariat

If you require a letter to confirm your registration please complete the online registration form and make payment. Please email emac2018@in-conference.org.uk  to request a letter after you have registered and made payment.

If your visa is declined we are only able to offer refunds in line with our cancellation terms and conditions.
